ChunkRevive
Regenerate, reset, and clean up Minecraft world data safely.
ChunkRevive is a terrain-lifecycle plugin for long-running servers. It finds explored terrain, precisely marks the chunks to process, and regenerates or removes them.
It is particularly useful for resource worlds, exploration areas, and renewable structures: keep player areas, protected claims, and the parts of the world you want to preserve while refreshing terrain and resources. After a world update, it can generate terrain from the new version without manually locating and deleting region files.
Highlights
- Mark one chunk, chunks travelled through, explicit coordinates, or a radius.
- Scan generated terrain directly from region files, including entire worlds.
- Select biomes across a world or within a radius using configurable matching rules.
- Regenerate selected chunks, delete them, or prune complete safe Anvil regions.
- Track structures, schedule refreshes, and protect their full footprint.
- Let players check nearby structure-protection progress with
/keep,/keepchunk, or/chunkkeep. - Apply world allow/deny rules and integrate with third-party claim protection.
How it works
- Find targets: Build a set with manual marking, radius/biome scans, a world scan, or automatic structure detection.
- Review targets: Verify marks with in-game displays, status commands, and structure information.
- Reset terrain: Safely regenerate targets, or let the configured strategy delete chunks or complete Anvil regions.
- Protect important data: World rules, claim integration, structure tracking, confirmation flags, work-tile limits, and heap throttling apply throughout the workflow.
Back up first and test a small area
Regeneration and deletion are powerful operations. Test in a resource world or world copy first, mark only chunks you intend to change, and review status and confirmation prompts before running a job.
